Father Frost – CZ

This Russian folk fairy tale and its film adaptation have been further adapted by Jindřich Šimek, who used the text by N. Erdman and the translation by K.M. Walló. The script, which keeps very close to the original plot, also features some animal characters not appearing in the original story.

The original soundtrack of the film has been newly arranged and includes new songs composed in a style matching the playful and sweet nature of the original tunes. Father Frost on ice is an impressive show featuring colourful folk costumes, rich decorations and amazing lighting effects. A show that climaxes at the end with brilliant fireworks right on the ice.
